Elderly man dies after alleged attack in Margaret River

A charge against a 67-year-old Margaret River man has been upgraded to murder this morning following an alleged attack in Holbrook Street late yesterday afternoon.

A 75-year-old died as a result of the incident.

Police arrested a man in light bushland off Clarke Road in Margaret River after 5pm yesterday.

The 67-year-old man appeared in Bunbury Magistrate’s Court this morning, though the charge was subsequently upgraded.
