The Margaret River Concert Band’s inaugural Augusta Playout attracted a big crowd on Sunday.

The Augusta Centennial Hall was filled with visitors and residents who enjoyed Latin, classic pop, jazz and a touch of rock music by the band.

Dancers from South West Swing took to the dance floor and offered a lesson to those who wanted to give it a go.

The lesson was well received, with some staying on while the band played.

The band also put on a light afternoon tea, and said it was likely to become an annual event.
