Gangster tough nut Dayne Brajkovich loves to use his fists . . . in a blue. He doesn’t take a backwards step and he doesn’t “give a f..k” what others think. As a Hells Angels enforcer, he had no problem roughing up rivals. In fact, he welcomed it. But even this heavily tattooed ex-bikie, who freely admits to finding the murky underworld thrilling, has a softer side. You have to look hard to see it. Beyond the aggressive tatts that adorn his face and body. But it’s there, hidden deep within. And there are two special ladies who have a gift for bringing it out, even if in mostly private moments. Jacinta is the new “angel” in his life. A dark-haired flame he finds intoxicating. They met on Tinder on April 1, 2020. It was a date that changed Brajkovich’s life. The notorious hard man not only fell in love with the girl from the Perth Hills, he also quickly took her daughter under his wing. “We stayed at the Aloft hotel one weekend,” Brajkovich says. “Jacinta had some running around to do, so I had (her daughter) for the day. “The two of us went into the city for a look and some gaming in Timezone. “While gaming I slipped in there: ‘Would it be OK if I married your mum?’ She said: ‘Yeah sure, OK’.” That tender moment with the then eight-year-old took place just over three months after Brajkovich and Jacinta had got together — a winter’s day on July 18. Then in a move that night that stunned even Jacinta, the outlaw got down on one knee and proposed. “We were watching an in-house movie and I asked Jacinta to marry me,” he says. “So 3½ months after we met — I’m a quick mover.” Did Jacinta, who herself has a penchant for tattoos (which is perhaps what encouraged her immediate attraction to Brajkovich) realise what she was getting herself into? If so, she didn’t flinch. She stuck around when the police’s tactical response group surrounded their house one night, dragging them out of their home at gunpoint. At the time, Brakjovich was the Hells Angels’ brutal sergeant-at-arms and the officers were taking no chances. “There was even a BearCat armoured vehicle out the front and they forced us out at gunpoint,” Brajkovich says. Despite red laser dots from semiautomatic weapons covering their bodies as officers took aim, Jacinta stuck by him. But the real test was still to come — with Jacinta and her daughter being sprayed with bullets as they reversed out of the drive of their then Ascot home in March 2021. “Five or six rounds went through Jacinta’s car while Jacinta was reversing in my garage with our daughter in the car,” Brajkovich says. “They both seen the barrel pointed at them and ducked.” The shooting was in retaliation for bashing Rebels boss Nick Martin several months earlier. Just weeks later Martin was killed by a former army sharpshooter mercenary, who alleges another bikie, David James Pye, ordered the hit. But rather than the terror of the ordeal seeing her run back to the Hills, Jacinta forever cemented her devotion to Brajkovich by moving in with him — albeit in another home. It was in their new abode on November 12, 2022, with Brajkovich having now been kicked out of the Hells Angels after bashing the gang’s Perth president — a bloody ordeal in which Jacinta stood by his side as backup — that the couple were married. “At 12 midday we were married on the balcony of our new house, with the photographer as a witness and the celebrant brought a friend as a witness for us, too,” Brajkovich says. “We’ve been through a lot of s..t together in three years and Jacinta is still here. I think Jacinta likes sitting on the back of the bike in the fast lane with me.” And it seems even nasty, obnoxious bikies have fun on their wedding day. Brajkovich covered up most of his infamous ink for the occasion — of course, there was no hiding it on his face — wearing a black suit, white button-up shirt and blue tie, which matched his daughter’s dress. On his right hand he sported his four huge 18-carat gold rings spelling out CINA, short for Jacinta. Jacinta also kept the look traditional, wearing a stunning white gown. After taking their vows, they hopped on their Harleys — sporting the numberplates Dayne and Cina1 — for pictures by the riverfront of the Swan near Crown Casino and on Matagarup Bridge beside Optus Stadium. “Late afternoon we had a change of clothes and were lucky enough for some good friends to get us a stretch limo to Coco’s in South Perth,” Brajkovich says. “It was our first dinner together as a married couple. Then we got an Uber home and the three of us were in bed by nine that night.” Of course, everyone knows that the bride is centre stage when it comes to weddings, so let’s give the last word to Jacinta: “I never thought I’d get married, especially to a man like Dayne.”
