Yarloop Primary School’s Parent and Carers committee have quiz night success

A South West primary school’s biggest fundraiser of the year had success last weekend as the community gathered for a showdown of wits.

The Yarloop Primary School’s Parent and Carers committee hosted a quiz night for the Harvey community, managing to raise more than $2500 on Saturday.

The quiz, at the Harvey community hall, had prizes donated by the community up for grabs.

Committee president Tracey Garrigan said this was its big yearly fundraiser with more than 130 people participating.

She thanked the sponsors who provided the prizes, and the community for their support.

“We are really fortunate and very grateful,” she said.
