Junior McGregor wins first State comp

Margaret River junior bodyboarder Max McGregor won his first State competition at the weekend’s SunSmart WA Bodyboard Titles in Mandurah.

McGregor won the under-14 grommets division against a strong field of competition, while fellow Margaret River competitor Lee Wilson came fourth in the open men’s division behind winner Kyle Ward, Kyle Eastcott and Blake Gerrard.

The Bodyboard Titles’ second State round will be held in Margaret River in May.
