A woman and a child have been injured when they were struck by a car in Kalgoorlie, WA.

Police say a grey SsangYong Rexton station wagon was driving along Graeme St, Hannans about 6.45pm on Monday when it hit the 30-year-old woman and a three-year-old child who she was carrying.

The woman suffered serious injuries while the child sustained minor injuries.

They were both taken to the Kalgoorlie Health Campus.

The driver, a 47-year-old man, was not injured and stopped at the scene.

Police are appealing for anyone with information, or who saw the vehicle or the two pedestrians in the lead up to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers.
