WA’s capital is in for a turbulent week weather-wise, with one day looking to be a perfect beach day while the next will call for open umbrellas.

Temperatures appear to be slowly rising to reach 28C on Tuesday with a mostly sunny day sure to see many locals taking advantage of the warmth.

However on Wednesday, the forecast by the Bureau of Meteorology back flips to a cloudy day with a 90 per cent chance of rainfall and a maximum of 19C.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, don’t let up on grey skies and rain will continue to give the city a light soaking.

Sunday: 20C, partly cloudy

Monday: 23C, mostly sunny

Tuesday: 28C, mostly sunny, slight chance of showers in the afternoon and evening

Wednesday: 19C, cloudy, very high chance of showers

Thursday: 18C, cloudy, very high chance of showers

Friday: 20C, cloudy, medium chance of showers

Saturday: 22C, cloudy, medium chance of showers
