Consultants appointed to review Augusta-Margaret River CEO performance
Consultants have been appointed to review the performance of Shire of Augusta-Margaret River CEO Stephanie Addison-Brown and set key performance indicators.
Price Consulting has been appointed to help the council complete Ms Addison-Brown’s 2022-23 performance review, while Graeme Davies will help prepare her key performance indicators for 2023-24.
They were appointed by the Shire’s people, culture and safety acting manager, who said both groups had the necessary industry experience.
“It is recognised as best practice within the industry for a CEO’s performance review to be externally facilitated,” their report said.
Mr Davies acted as the shire’s CEO last year.
“We’ve been doing a lot of work lately to review our values and the customer experience,” shire president Paula Cristoffanini said.
“Both the council and the CEO are excited to work with Graeme Davies who acted in the CEO position last year to explore best practice and articulate key performance indicators to reflect our joint vision going forward.”
Work on the KPIs is expected to start in either this or next month and the review in July or August.
The details of the performance review and KPIs have been kept confidential.
Ms Addison-Brown has been CEO since July 2019.
