Donald Trump Inauguration: New President seals deal with ‘air kiss’ for wife Melania in Washington

Donald Trumps entry for his inauguration at the Capital rotunda in Washington has gone viral due to a brief greeting for his wife Melania.

An ‘air kiss’ shared between President Trump and his wife Melania Trump has quickly garnered worlwide attention on social media.

As Mr Trump leant in, he gave Mrs Trump’s cheek he produced a very noticeable ‘air kiss’ for the now First Lady of the United States.

“The best ‘Air Kiss’ ever. Does he do ‘Air Guitar’ as well?” one X user asked.

Many where quick to defend the couple, laying blame on Mrs Trump’s brimmed hat.

“President Trump and First Lady Melania just kissed air. It was the hat’s fault,” an observer said.

Others felt it was a pre-planned moved to ensure Mrs Trump’s appearance remained pristine leading into one of the biggest days of the couple’s lives.

Either way it will remain a famous ‘swipe’ in the memory of millions as the Trump’s begin their four year term in the White House.
