Roglic rides away in Catalunya to win stage and race.

Primoz Roglic has made a late charge to take the lead from local favourite Juan Ayuso and win the Volta a Catalunya.
A four-time Spanish Vuelta champion, Roglic prevailed in the final 20 km to win the decisive 88 km seventh stage in Barcelona and clinch the overall victory.
Ayuso had entered the final day in the lead following a sixth stage that was shortened because of extreme wind.
Roglic, the 35-year-old Slovenian from Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe, finished the race 28 seconds ahead of Ayuso (UAE Team Emirates XRG), and 53 seconds in front of Movistar's Enric Mas, another Spaniard.
Ben O'Connor (Jayco AlUla) was the best-placed Australian, finishing 12th.
In Belgium former world champion Mads Pedersen triumphed at the Gent-Wevelgem classic with one of the longest solo rides in the race's history.
The Dane secured his third victory in the event, following wins in 2020 and 2024, after a 56 km breakaway.
Pedersen completed the 250.3 km race with a 52-second lead over Belgian European champion Tim Merlier and Italy's Jonathan Milan.
